Solo Show in the New York International Fringe Festival
Katharine is pleased to announce her one woman show, My Dad's Crazier Than Your Dad: A Scientific Inquiry, just finished a phenomenal run in the 2010 New York International Fringe Festival to rave reviews! Thanks to everyone who came out and made the show a huge success. The reviews are in! "Katharine Heller deserves much more than just a good review. She deserves much more than an outstanding review. She deserves a celebration in honor of her and her contributions in My Dad's Crazier Than Your Dad: A Scientific Inquiry in the New York Fringe... Katharine Heller reminds us the beauty of art is that there is always something new to contribute to the world."- Theater Online "Katharine Heller is one extraordinarily funny lady. She acts with her whole body, face bland and dead pan and charming in a kind of Buster Keaton way. But she displays a rapier wit and incredible knife edge comic timing. And she kills us. Yes, she kills us, and it all works... Go see this show! You will laugh 'till you cry." - Woman Around Town "Heller is fully exploring her formidable powers as a razor-sharp and organic comedic artist." - Hy Reviews "With its therapy-like confessions, the play could drag with a lesser performer at its center, but Ms. Heller confidently offers a humorous and touching story that has closure. She makes having daddy issues interesting to talk about." - The Wall Street Journal "An immensely entertaining journey." - Reviews Off Broadway "If you have a chance to see this show, do it. You won't regret it. Katherine shines with her wittiness and her comedic timing." - The Plog "A comic feast." - Theater is Easy New York Times Weekender Parody
